Responsibilities
Job Overview: Responsible for the full deliveries to be on time.
- Monitoring of stock
- Ensuring all incidents and accidents are reported timeously
- POD control
- Safe working practices
- Housekeeping
- Following Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist the driver in the loading and offloading of the product
- Assist with the moving of vehicles in the safest possible manner for delivery to customers
- Loading and off loading at customers
- Securing loads and ensuring that the product is always properly secured in transit
- Assist the driver and report any damage to any property
- Assist where possible with control of paperwork
Qualifications
- Matric is essential
- Code 10 or higher valid driver’s license with PDP will be an advantage
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities – effective in handling and interacting with customers
- Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods and routes
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- The ability to work flexible hours
