The Moses Kotane Research Institute (MKRI) is offering an exciting opportunity for 600 unemployed graduates to join its Research Data Collection Programme 2025. About the MKRI Data Collection Programme
The programme provides graduates with an opportunity to work as Research Data Collectors while developing practical skills in fieldwork and research. Successful candidates will assist MKRI in conducting surveys, gathering information, and supporting evidence-based projects that benefit communities across KwaZulu-Natal.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen aged 18–35 years
- Hold an NQF Level 6–8 qualification in any field
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Be computer literate
- Own a working smartphone
- Be fluent in English and IsiZulu
Advantageous Qualifications & Experience
While not compulsory, preference may be given to candidates with:
- An NQF Level 8 qualification
- Previous data collection experience
- Ability to travel and work independently
- Familiarity with digital data collection tools
