“Just knowing is not enough. There is a way to do it right and there is someone doing it better”-Lewis Madziire
When you get into business or anything that you find yourself in take your time to learn about that particular field. Learning is part of the reality world. It is like a research you are conducting from what you imagined. You need answers to solve the assumptions filling your head. At the moment you are starting your job you will have questions like: How do I do it best? Are they going to like my art, style? Many questions will be unanswered until you get work done.

You might have learnt the thing you want to do before, but application differs. People and environment accept things and treatment differently. Take time to learn how to approach a new customer, how to talk to a new person and new situations.

With the changes in our lives, new things coming up daily-technology and diseases too, you realize that You Do No Know much. Thus you need to learn, unlearn some stuff and relearn something relevant. Every day comes with a challenge. The challenge might appear to the same but needing different approach.

Being in the way to your goals does not guarantee you happiness. You might get the goal or you might not. What is certain is that you have freedom doing things that you want. You have your time to do things that matters to you in your own terms. Let us say you started a business and become committed to it. You have time for it and time for other things as well. You have freedom and an equal share of challenges that might steal your happiness.

Keep your hope alive because you do not know the future. The hopes for success gives us confidence to give ourselves to work. You wake up every day with the hope that you are going to be alive till the end of the day and do things that you desire but you do not know how it is going to be like. All have you to do is hope for the best and prepare yourself to face what comes along the way and address it accordingly. In businesses there are certain principles and rules set then there is a contingent approach that leaves a person to act accordingly depending with the situation on the ground.

Accepting that you do not know everything helps you get more knowledge. This approach is mainly called a half full cup approach. The aim is to try to fill up your cup. By keeping it half full you are leaving a room for more ideas, advice and wisdom. This is the reason why we are encouraged to speak less than we know to accommodate a room for learning more.

Reading a lot of books will help. Luckily these days you can read over the computer, phone, iPad or audio books in your car or whilst training. We have knowledge around us. There are many free seminars out there, attend them, meet new people, and learn new stuff. Reading many books and attending many seminars help you correct the wrong beliefs or knowledge you had. Always be curious of getting it right and knowing the right stuff.
