Join this dedicated team as a Whiskey Creek Housekeeper where you will be responsible for ensuring the semi-skilled task allocated is performed effectively and efficiently, thereby ensuring a high standard of cleanliness at the guesthouse.
Location of positions: Whiskey Creek Trout Lodge Between Lydenburg and Sabie
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Deliver excellent customer service, at all times.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation at the Guesthouse.
- Maintain the stocking levels of all consumables.
- Report any maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor, including all furniture, fittings and equipment.
- Reset lighting to the current standards.
- Complete all periodical tasks, such as flipping mattresses, cleaning curtains and dusting lamp shades.
- Store all used and clean laundry in line with company policy and complete the required documentation.
- Fulfil all reasonable requests from guests, to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety.
- Report any security issues to the supervisor.
- Always adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Be involved and contribute at team meetings.
- Carry out instructions given by the management team.
- Execution of all allocated tasks aligned to the approved schedule.
- 80% work planned, scheduled and well-resourced ahead of execution.
- Changing tasks and equipment settings within standards to minimize the effect of unexpected problems.
- Stopping the tasks if the working conditions are unsafe.
- Usage of tools and machinery.
- Time duration for task completion.
- Meet the key task measures.
- Assisting Chefs in preparation of meals

Qualifications
- Matric
Experience:
- 1- 3 years relevant experience
- Technical knowledge(experience) required for role: Housekeeping and Catering
- Previous experience in similar industry advantageous
