What Curro is looking for?
Curro is looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:
- Grade 12.
- Experience and qualification in the cleaning and maintenance sector will be beneficial.
- Must have own vehicle.
- 6 months to 1 year’s basic maintenance and general facilities experience.
- 1 year relevant experience in a supervisory role.
- Must have management experience related to cleaning of facilities.
- Relevant experience in an Educational environment.
- A clear criminal record.
The responsibilities are:
- Supervise and support a team of general workers, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Prepare and manage staff rotas, including scheduling, holidays, and sickness cover.
- Ensure that all tasks are clearly communicated and understood by the team.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that cleaning standards are met and maintained.
- Monitor the condition and usage of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
