Electronics Artisan (Red Seal) opportunity for 2025-2026 Internship Programme at Necsa

Necsa is offering a twelve (12) month internship opportunity for graduates to work on Energy Storage and Fluorine research programmes.

Requirements

• Recently qualified artisan with Red Seal or Trade Test Certificate
• Younger than 35 years
• Must be South African

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written communication).
• High level of computer literacy (Ms Package).
• Attention to detail, self – motivation and good time management.
• Knowledge of electronics;
  • Industrial Electronics – Understanding of power supplies, inverters, and
    control systems.
  • Wiring & Installation – Understanding of electrical wiring, panel building,
    and cable management
• Ability to perform trouble shooting minor problems on facilities/instruments.
• Be willing to learn construction of laboratory chemical process systems.
