The key purpose of this role is to provide support to enhance technical and leadership skills required to manage Safety & Environment in a Brewery environment and beyond.
Key outputs and responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance to the applicable occupational Health and Safety Act
- Ensure compliance to the Environmental Management Act
- Ensure workplace hazards are identified and communicated to all staff.
- To monitor and advise on Safety and Environmental Pillar performance
- Promote Safety and Environmental Awareness
- Support and facilitate safety improvement interventions
- Conduct audits and review legal compliance
- Conduct investigations into incidents
- Ensure induction of both employees and contractors takes place
- Effective communication / Presentation skills
- Self-managed and assertiveness
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business
- Creative and broad-minded thinker

Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Safety/Environment Management or equivalent BTech qualification.
