Position: Engineer in Training (Engineering Turbine Specialized Services (ETSS) Mechanical) – X5
Vacancy Type: External

This Engineer in Training position in the Engineering Turbine Specialized Services (ETSS) division is a two-year internship contract that includes a stipend, as outlined by the company’s policies and procedures. Selected applicants will gain hands-on experience and training in turbine mechanics, primarily based in the Projects Department within the Turbo Gen Services business unit.

Location: South Africa (Gauteng)

Tasks

This position is designed for recent graduates who will receive extensive training and mentorship to support their career growth. There are no specific job responsibilities assigned to this role, as it is primarily an educational and developmental opportunity within the engineering field.

Qualifications

Education and Certification

  • B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering, or
  • National Diploma in a related field

Experience

  • No prior experience required.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Valid national driver’s license (Code B)
