Who Can Apply?
The Etion Create Bursary Programme is open to talented South African citizens who have successfully completed their
second or third year of study in either:
- BEng (Electronics)
- BEng Computer Engineering
Applicants must also provide matric transcripts with strong Maths and Science results , along with their second and/or third-year university transcripts showcasing their semester marks within the specified engineering courses.
What Does the Bursary Cover?
This bursary is specifically designed to support your academic journey comprehensively. It covers essential study-related costs, allowing you to focus on your education without financial burden. The coverage includes:
- Registration and Tuition Fees
- Accommodation
- Meal Vouchers
- Prescribed Textbooks
It’s important to note that this bursary programme is not a salaried position; however, all the aforementioned study-related expenses will be fully covered.
Important Dates and Application Process
The bursary cycle aligns with the standard academic year, running from January to December. Be sure to mark these critical dates:
- Applications Close: 17 October 2025
- Interviews: Applicants must be available for interviews in November 2025.
- Vacation Work: Successful applicants will also be required to undertake vacation work during 2026.
