Selection Criteria
- Unemployed learners
- Only South African citizens are eligible to apply
- A learnermust be from a combined household income not exceeding R1 000 000 per annum.
- Learners must be registered or have been accepted at a Public University or University of Technology or TVET college.
- The selected qualifications should be within FAS sector however preference will be given to IT related qualifications and other national critical skills.
- The bursary funding will be capped at R100 000 for university learners, and R40 000 for TVET per beneficiary, per annum
- The bursary funding covers tuition Fees, prescribed textbooks, accommodation, and meal allowances only.
Learners in a learning development programme: Interns and Trainees
- Learners must be registered or have been accepted at a Public University or University of Technology or TVET college.
