RCL FOODS are in search for a GENERAL WORKER to join the GROCERIES Business Unit/Division. The role will be based in RANDFONTEIN and report to the SENIOR LAB ANALYST. RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent to:
- Ensure the laboratory operates efficiently and safely by maintaining cleanliness, managing waste, and supporting compliance with management systems and procedures.
Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric
- Basic hygiene practices
- Good Communication Skills
- Attention to details
Duties and Responsibilities
- Keeping the laboratory in a clean and neat state
- Removal of samples and waste from the laboratory
- Cleaning of glassware
- Cleaning of floors and countertops
- Cleaning of bathrooms
- Transfer of consumables to the chemical store
- Removal of waste from the laboratory
- Identification of departures from the management system or from the procedures for performing tests.
- Initiation of actions to prevent or minimize such departures
- Removal of samples from the laboratory
