Graduate opportunity at Rand Refinery: Final Storage and dispatch

Responsibilities
- Manual packaging of finished products after the completion of the quality process. This includes the fowling types of products; minted coins, blank coins, cast bars, wires, discs
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by tracking stock movements, performing regular stock counts, and updating storage systems to reflect real-time data.
- Assist in performing quality checks on outgoing products to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards, and handle discrepancies in stock or packaging.
- Support the customer service team by providing accurate and timely information regarding order status, delivery times, and any potential delays.
- Identify areas for improvement within the final storage and dispatch process and collaborate with the team to implement more efficient workflows and cost-saving strategies.
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed in the final storage and dispatch, including the safe handling of materials
- Ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and labelled according to customer specifications and timelines.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A completed Matric qualification.
- BTech. / Advanced Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- BCom. in Supply Chain Management.
- Acquired at least an overall average of 70% at tertiary level.
SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES
- Computer proficiency — MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), SAP, SharePoint, Educos and IsoMetrix.
