Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited is giving young South Africans a life-changing opportunity through its Internship Programme and P1/P2 Experiential Training 2025. These opportunities are designed for graduates, diplomates, and students who need workplace exposure to complete their qualifications.
This programme combines career development, hands-on learning, and professional mentorship within one of South Africa’s largest gold mining companies.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is open to:
- Graduates and Diplomates with completed tertiary qualifications from accredited South African universities or colleges.
- Students requiring P1/P2 experiential training, with a recent institutional letter confirming the requirement.
- Local community members from Harmony’s operational districts.
- Children of Harmony employees.
Additional requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen under the age of 35.
- Must reside in one of the following districts:
- Free State: Lejweleputswa, Matjhabeng, Masilonyana
- North West: Dr Kenneth Kaunda, Ratlou, Moqhaka
- Gauteng: City of Johannesburg, Merafong City, West Rand
- Must not have benefited from a similar internship programme previously.
- Willing to undergo a medical examination and security screening before placement.
