Hessequa Municipality N6 Internships 2025

The Hessequa Local Municipality is inviting unemployed South African graduates to apply for its N6 Internship Programme 2025. This opportunity is designed to provide practical workplace experience for young people who have completed their N6 qualification.

  • Closing Date: 10 September 2025
  • Location: Riversdale, Hessequa Local Municipality, Western Cape
  • Duration: 12 months (fixed term)
  • Stipend: R4 000 per month
  • Available Posts: 2

About the Internship

This programme aims to develop skills in critical municipal functions while helping participants gain the experience needed to build a career in local government.

Fields of placement include:

  • Management Assistant
  • Public Administration
  • Human Resources

Interns will be based at the Riversdale municipal offices, and applicants must reside within the Hessequa Region.


Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Hessequa Municipality N6 Internships 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Completed N6 qualification in Management Assistant, Public Administration, or Human Resources
  • Be a South African citizen with a valid ID
  • Provide proof of residence in the Hessequa region

Key Duties

Successful candidates will be expected to assist with:

  • General office and administrative support
  • Customer service and telephone reception
  • Filing, data capturing, and document handling
  • Any other related tasks as assigned by supervisors
