Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and prepared to deliver lessons to students
- Reach students with engaging lesson plans and resources.
- Collaborate with grade level and develop rigorous, engaging learning experiences and to create individualised behaviour and learning plans for all students in class.
- Should have a core focus on student achievement and should drive all scholars to meet the required proficiency ratings.
- Manage weekly and termly assessments to track student progress and analyse the data for student growth.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues, and parents.
- Conduct self in a professional manner at all school events
- Nurture a high achieving work environment where all students feel genuinely valued and supported.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Relevant professional qualification in the subject field (HL, not FAL)
- SACE registration
- Computer skills
- Experience in teaching English HL in the GET or FET band a benefit
- Letter of recommendation from Subject Head/HOD/Principal for newly-qualified educators
