Purpose of the job

Support the Alexforbes survey team in various tasks related to investment surveys, data collection, and analysis, contributing to the overall success of the team and gaining valuable experience in the investment industry.

Overview

•Data support: assist in data collection, entry, and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of survey data.
•Survey assistance: provide support in survey preparation, distribution, and follow-up with stakeholders.
•Research and analysis: assist in conducting research and basic data analysis to support the team’s insights and recommendations.

Develop and enhance communication and interpersonal skills by collaborating with colleagues in the survey team and other departments within Alexforbes Investments to promote effective teamwork and achieve team objectives.
•Collaboration: actively participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and work closely with colleagues to achieve common goals.
•Effective communication: improve communication skills by interacting with team members and stakeholders in a professional and clear manner.

Foster a culture of continuous learning by proactively seeking opportunities to expand knowledge and skills related to the investment industry and the survey process.
•Learning and development: actively engage in training sessions, workshops, and self-study to gain a better understanding of investments and survey practices.
•Knowledge sharing: share insights and information gained from learning activities with the team to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Assist in maintaining the Manager Watch mailbox by monitoring incoming emails, responding to queries, and escalating issues as needed to ensure a timely resolution.
•Mailbox management support: help in monitoring and sorting incoming emails, and assist in responding to queries in a timely and accurate manner.
•Stakeholder communication: maintain effective communication with stakeholders and provide updates on query status

Minimum Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Investments or Finance.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Some knowledge of industry trends and best practices in investments.
•Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
•Strong organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines
