KMF scholarships for grade 6 learners
DEADLINE: 30 April 2025
To determine eligibility for application, the learner must meet the following criteria.
Criteria to be met:
- The learner must be a grade 6 learner in the year of applying.
- The learner must be a South African citizen.
- The learner must be between the ages of 10 and 13 years old in the year of applying.
- The learner must show leadership potential, hard work, and commitment towards academics.
- The total household income of the learner must not exceed R17 500 per month.
- The learner must reside in Cape Town / Northern Suburbs / Southern Suburbs / Helderberg region / travelling distance from the KMF offices in Bellville.
If the learner meets the criteria listed above, the following documentation should be prepared for attachment to the application.
Documents to prepare:
- Grade 5 Term 4 report.
- Grade 6 Term 1 report.
- Learner’s birth certificate.
- Parent(s) / legal guardian(s) identity documents.
- Death certificate(s), if applicable.
- Proof of income
- Three months’ bank statements for both parent(s)/legal guardian(s).
- Task for the Learner: Write an essay, in your own handwriting, about your family, your living conditions and your community.
