As a graduate trainee, your responsibilities include shadowing various staff members, participating in learning experiences, attending meetings and workshops and other working environments to gain practical experience.
The graduate program is designed for a fixed-term contract for a period of 12 months.
You should keep an accurate record of your time at the company and be able to pass a competency test at the end of the program.
Eligibility for the programme are recently qualified South African graduates in possession of the below-mentioned qualifications and computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook/ E mail, and Internet).
Accountabilities
- Delivers projects within the constraints of scope, time and cost to agreed levels of quality, within the organization’s project management framework and under supervision of experienced staff members.
- Actively participates in all phases of the project or specific phases of larger projects. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project.
- Prepares, maintains, and reports on project plans within the project teams.
- Tracks activities, timelines and costs against the plan: escalates risks and find mitigation pathways where projects are at risk.
- Creates and implements effective operating rhythms with project stakeholders.
- Provides regular reporting to management and escalates project risks proactively.
- Keeping track of documentation
- Ensuring company compliance frameworks are met
- Building trusted relationships with internal teams
- Participating in meetings, workshops, and team-building events.
- Taking notes on experiences and keeping a log of things learned.
- Compiling reports and making presentations to other staff members.
- Bringing positive energy into the company and forming lasting professional relationships with staff.
- Conducting research and assisting the Manager or Supervisor wherever possible.
- Upholding the good name of the company at all times.
- Writing a test or submitting to some other form of evaluation at the end of the graduate program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree is required (completed or Q1 2025 graduation date)
- A valid driver’s license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent research abilities and a willingness to grow.
- A positive attitude and a growth mindset.
