• Location: Netcare N1 City Hospital

Role Summary

The incumbent is responsible for the application of preparatory materials, paints and stains to surfaces of walls, ceilings, ceilings, equipment and furniture.

Key Work Output and Accountabilities

• Preparation for painting, Painting duties, Cleaning, Wall texturing, Maintenance and General assistance.
• Personal and professional development.

A detailed job description will be discussed with the successful candidate.

Inherent Requirements

• Matric or related NQF level 4 qualification.
• N2 national technical certificate or acceptable qualification.
• Basic literacy with the ability to read and write.
• A proven track record in the specific field with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• The use of basic hand tools including power tools.
• The use of brushes, rollers, spray guns & blow torches.
• Basic housekeeping skills.
• Basic understanding of the SANS 10305 – painting of buildings.
• Basic understanding of the national OHS act
