About the Ninety One Bursary Programme 2026
Ninety One is inviting students across South Africa to apply for the #Changeblazer Bursary Programme for the 2026 academic year. This prestigious bursary aims to support academically talented and financially deserving students in key fields of study.

Bursaries will be awarded for studies in the following areas:
- Business, Finance, and Economics
- Education (Mathematics and Science)
- Engineering
- Healthcare (excluding Dentistry, Medicine, and Veterinary Science)
- Technology and Computer Science
- Psychology

Eligibility Requirements for the Ninety One Bursary 2026
To apply, you must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be under 21 years old in 2026
- Be currently in Matric (Grade 12)
- Plan to study full-time in one of the approved fields above
- Be entering your first year of university in 2026
- Intend to study at a recognised South African university
- Achieve preferably a minimum overall average of 70% or Level 6 in English and Mathematics/Sciences in Grade 11
- Demonstrate financial need (household income under R600 000 per year; special cases may be considered)
- Have a strong academic record and leadership qualities

Required Supporting Documents
Applicants must upload certified copies of the following documents (applications without these may be rejected):
- South African ID document
- Grade 11 final results
- Latest Matric results
- Proof of university application or registration for 2026 (on institution letterhead)
- Proof of household income (parents’/guardians’ payslips, affidavit if unemployed, or relevant SASSA/pension slip)

The deadline for applications is 31 July 2025.
