Responsibilities
Job Overview: Supervises the activities of a group of employees /controllers engaged in performing a variety of milling routines. Responsible for the training of new employees as well as the training in safety procedures.
- Compile mill grist & control product quality parameters and compile milling and packaging plan. Control wheat intake & milling processes.
- Control raw material & finished stock levels & rotation.
- Optimise people, mill, machinery and equipment – also maintained the mill, machinery and equipment.
- Ensure safety, heath, hygiene and pest management and manage team. (gemba walks ) etc.
- Shift work including Public holidays.
- Positive attitude, eager and keen to study (SAGMA).
- Food safety understanding.
- Assisting supervisor with flour testing running of the plant.
- Assist on mill maintenance days handling of tools etc.
