1. Class Teacher

MPS (Inner London) + £2,000 Harris Allowance

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and innovative qualified teacher with high expectations to join our collaborative and growing academy team.

You will be teaching 2.5 days in EYFS, with the remaining 2.5 days teaching interventions in KS1 and KS2.

2. Teaching Assistant

Grade 2 (Inner London): £22,608 FTE (£18,921.16 pro rata)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our collaborative and growing academy team as a Teaching Assistant.

Ideally the person we are looking for will have the minimum of a Level 3 equivalent qualification, be passionate about education and have a flair for working with young people. 4. Teacher of Art and Design

5. Examinations Invigilator

£10 per hour

Harris City Academy Crystal Palace is currently looking for an Examinations Invigilator to support the end of year and general examination provisions.

Your opportunity

As Examinations Invigilator, you will ensure a calm environment, giving candidates confidence in the process. as well as giving out vital information such as start and finish times. Reporting to the Examinations Officer, the successful candidate is also expected to ensure candidates have all the materials and information needed for each exam, and manage student behaviour and requests throughout the exam. 

This role is likely to suit an individual with a similar background and experience within an educational establishment.

6. Learning Support Assistant

As Learning Support Assistant, you will: 

  • Liaise with appropriate external SEND or health professionals to ensure that advice on provision for individual SEND pupils is effectively implemented;
  • Attend to the pupil’s personal needs and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical hygiene and welfare matters; 
  • Establish good relationships with all pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs;.
