Job Description

Truworths has an exciting job opportunity that has become available in the Quality Assurance department. They are looking for someone who is passionate about retail, energetic, hardworking to join their dynamic team. The role will be based at the Head Office in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify daily test submissions for accuracy
  • Effectively and efficiently captures all information of the Truworths test report results on PLM
  • Manage test reports by booking results on the PLM system. Administrative Support
  • Monitor and manage office supply inventory
  • Place orders for office supplies when stock levels are low
  • Distribute stationery supplies to staff as required
  • Schedule regular maintenance for laboratory equipment
  • Ensures that the electronic copy of the test report is emailed daily to suppliers
  • Address and resolve queries related to test submissions
  • Ensure correct test methods are applied and that testing is conducted accurately
  • Maintain clear and accurate test report documentation
  • Manage turnaround times for test completion
  • Distribute computer-generated reports to suppliers

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role

Communication

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Address inquiries and issues promptly and professionally
