Rigging Engineering Learnership Opportunity (Impala Platinum)

Purpose of the job
To provide an opportunity for successful candidates to participate in a Rigging engineering learnership programme to attain artisanship by means of trade testing.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Completed N2 or NCV4 certificate in Rigging
- Subjects at N2 level: Mathematics, Engineering Science, Riggers trade theory, Engineering drawing.
- Must have a basic understanding of the applicable trade.
- Medically fit for both plants at the Refineries and mining operations
Training/Duties and Responsibilities
- Forty-Two (42) months learnership with a set training programme under the auspices of the Mining Qualification Authority (SETA).
- The learnership will also provide the incumbent with a sound understanding on how to properly install and maintain lifting equipment and to safely apply various safe lifting techniques to move machinery and equipment of various sizes within a plant
