Key Responsibilities
Medical Management
- Conduct injury assessments and compile medical reports.
- Review and assess claims, ensuring alignment with RAF treatment protocols.
- Pre-authorise claims according to clinical guidelines and tariffs.
- Escalate complex cases for multi-disciplinary adjudication.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor treatment quality.
Reporting
- Track and report on objectives, risks, and emerging trends.
- Provide ad-hoc reports to support process improvements.
- Draft documents, briefing notes, and presentations.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with medical professionals, claimants, and other stakeholders.
- Respond to queries within set turnaround times.
