The Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL) is calling on unemployed South African graduates to apply for its Internship Programme for 2025/2026. This programme is designed to provide hands-on workplace exposure and experience that will boost the employability of graduates while preparing them for meaningful careers in their chosen fields.

About the Internship Programme

The RAL Internship Programme targets unemployed graduates who are eager to gain real-world skills and practical training within different business units of the agency. The initiative focuses on bridging the gap between academic qualifications and professional employment opportunities.

Only South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 years will be considered. Please note that applicants who have previously participated in any Internship Programme within a Government Department or State-Owned Entity are not eligible.

Who Should Apply?

These internships are open to graduates who:

  • Are South African citizens aged 18–35.
  • Hold a relevant qualification in one of the listed fields.
  • Are currently unemployed and looking for workplace exposure.
  • Have not previously participated in an internship at a government department or state-owned entity.

How to Apply

Please note:

  • All applicants must have a Matric/Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification and must be computer literate.
  • The application must include certified copies of the applicant’s academic transcript, educational qualifications, and identity document.
  • A detailed CV, including at least two contactable referees, must be submitted along with a cover letter clearly stating the position.
  • Applicants with foreign qualifications remain responsible for ensuring that their qualifications are evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) and therefore, must attach certified copies of certificates of evaluation by SAQA.
  • Incomplete applications or failure to submit any of the required documents will result in disqualification.
