About RBH
RBH is an African community-owned investment holding company whose sole shareholder is the Royal Bafokeng Nation Development Trust (RBNDT). RBH, together with the RBNDT have been entrusted with the unique responsibility of preserving and growing the financial capital of the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN), a progressive traditional community of 29 villages situated in the Rustenburg valley. RBH’s mandate is to protect and grow the wealth of the RBN and provide reliable and predictable intergenerational income.
2025 RBH Bursary Programme
Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH) invites eligible students to apply for academic tertiary funding at accredited public institutions of higher learning through its RBH Bursary Fund for the 2025 academic year.
Applicants must have the following minimum entry requirements:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be an unemployed youth (35 years and younger)
- Have completed Matric
- Should be studying or have applied to study at a recognised registered public South African
University - Be studying or have applied to study for full time studies towards a qualification in one of the
fields listed below:
o Accounting Sciences (CA – Chartered Accountant stream)
o Investment Management
o Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (CTA)
o Honours within these fields for qualification criteria - Must be entering first, second or third year of study. Postgraduate studies included
- Must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65%, if currently studying
- Must not have any other bursaries granted to them, including NSFAS

You will be required to upload clear copies of the following compulsory certified documents:
- ID document (Not older than 3 months)
- Proof of residence (Not older than 3 months)
- Matric certificate
- Proof of registration and acceptance at an accredited public South African University
- Certificates of any completed qualifications, if applicable
- Academic transcript and/or full academic record
- Brief CV & Motivation letter
Candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted directly and those who do not get contacted should consider their application unsuccessful. Upon award of the bursary, parents’/guardians’ ID document will be required.
