SACAA Bursary in Aviation – Aeronautical Engineering

The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is offering a bursary for Aeronautical Engineering for the 2025 academic year. The program aims to support talented, financially needy students who have a passion for aviation and engineering.
Bursary Details
The bursary covers:

- Textbooks and other study materials
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Have a Matric (Grade 12) certificate with a minimum of Level 6 in both Mathematics (Pure) and Physical Science.
- Have an acceptance or provisional acceptance to an accredited Aeronautical Engineering program at a South African institution.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Submit a motivation letter with the application.

The deadline for applications is September 30, 2025. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Mandatory documents include:
- A copy of your ID.
- Your Matric certificate or latest Grade 12 results.
- Proof of financial need (household income).
