SANRAL Bursary for 2026 Academic Year

SANRAL is the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited. It is a government-owned company that manages South Africaโ€™s national roads.

They believe education is key to the countryโ€™s future. Thatโ€™s why they offer bursaries to students who do well in school.

Who Can Apply?

  • Students start their first year of university or college in 2026 in these fields.
  • BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering
  • Human Resource Management
  • Public Procurement or Supply Chain Management
  • Computer Science or Information Systems

To qualify for a bursary, you must:

  • Be a South African citizen under the age of 35.
  • Meet the academic requirements for your chosen course.
  • Achieve a stipulated academic average:
  • For matriculants: 70% overall average
  • Study at an approved South African tertiary institution (privately-owned universities will not be considered)
  • Intend to enrol for full-time study (not part-time or distance learning)
  • Complete an application form in full and include all necessary supporting documents
