About the Sasol Fire Fighter Learnership 2025
The Sasol Fire Fighter Learnership is designed for candidates who want to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in firefighting. This program blends classroom-based learning with hands-on training in real operational environments, equipping learners with the skills needed to excel in the fire safety field.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Sasol Fire Fighter Learnership, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A National Senior Certificate or equivalent, with passes in:
- Technical Mathematics or Mathematics
- English or Business English
- Technical or Physical Science (preferred)
- A valid Code B driver’s license
- Ability to pass a stress and fear assessment, including heights, confined spaces, and fire exposure
- Successful completion of the firefighter fitness assessment
- Full participation in the Learnership program and assessment process
- Completion of all mandatory workplace readiness activities
