Programme Overview
The Transnet Sector Specific Trainee Programme is a 12-month structured initiative designed to build a talent pipeline for key roles within Transnet Port Terminals (TPT). The programme places learners in targeted areas based on their academic background, career goals, and TPT’s business needs, fostering professional development in South Africa’s logistics and port operations sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training programme.
- Undergo regular performance reviews and assessments.
- Perform duties outlined in the development programme and any additional tasks reasonably required by Transnet Port Terminals.
Eligibility Criteria
- South African citizen.
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
Advantageous Qualifications
- TVET N6 in Logistics or Transport.
