EASTC Technocentric Varsity, in collaboration with the Department of Employment and Labour through the Labour Activation Programme (LAP), is offering exciting Engineering and Trade Learnerships/Skills Programmes for South African youth in Gauteng. These programmes are designed to provide technical training, workplace exposure, and a pathway into scarce-skilled trades.

Available Learnerships and Skills Programmes
Welding Learnership – 200 Beneficiaries (12 Months)
Requirements:
- Grade 11 with Mathematics OR Level 4 in Mathematical Literacy.
- Certified copies of ID, CV, and qualifications (not older than 3 months).
- Must reside in Gauteng.
- People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Building & Civil Construction Skills Programme – 300 Beneficiaries (13 Months)
Requirements:
- Grade 9 qualification (preference for applicants with trade-related experience).
- Certified copies of ID, CV, and qualifications.
- Must reside in Gauteng.
- No age restriction, inclusive of all applicants.
Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Learnership – 200 Beneficiaries (12 Months)
Requirements:
- Grade 11 with Mathematics OR Level 4 in Mathematical Literacy.
- Certified copies of ID, CV, and qualifications.
- Must reside in Gauteng.
- Open to all ages, with strong encouragement for people with disabilities.
Plumbing – Hand Skills Programme – 300 Beneficiaries (13 Months)
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 9 qualification.
- Preference given to applicants with plumbing or related trade experience.
- Certified copies of ID, CV, and qualifications.
- Must reside in Gauteng.
Electrical Learnership – 200 Beneficiaries (12 Months)
Requirements:
- Grade 11 with Mathematics OR Level 4 in Mathematical Literacy.
- Certified copies of ID, CV, and qualifications.
- Must reside in Gauteng.
- No age restriction – inclusive opportunity.
