For the 2026/27 entry, the School of Computer Science at the University of Leeds is offering 1 talented budding researcher the opportunity to join its thriving community of leading researchers.

This is a highly competitive School of Computer Science Studentship, providing the award of full academic fees, together with a tax-free maintenance grant, at the standard UKRI rate of £21,805 per year for 3.5 years.

This opportunity is open to all applicants. All candidates will be placed into the School of Computer Science Studentship Competition, and selection is based on academic merit.

There is 1 funded place available. Please note that whilst you may be successful in securing an academic offer for any project linked to this funding opportunity, this does not mean that you have been successful in securing an offer of funding. Funding is awarded on a competitive basis.

Eligibility Criteria 

• Applications are open to either International or UK Fee rated applicants.
