Content Creation Internship in Johannesburg at VML

Responsibilities
As a Content Creator Intern, you’ll support VML creative teams in developing engaging content across social and digital platforms. You’ll gain hands-on experience bringing campaigns to life while learning from some of the industry’s best :
- Assist in creating engaging content for social media and digital platforms.
- Support the development of creative concepts and campaign ideas.
- Write captions, headlines, and other digital copy.
- Create or assist with short-form video, photography, and visual content.
- Help plan, schedule, and publish content across multiple platforms.
- Research social media trends, audience insights, and emerging content formats.
- Collaborate with Designers, Copywriters, Strategists, and Client Service teams.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative workshops.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong storytelling and creative thinking abilities.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital trends.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Digital Marketing, Creative Brand Communication, or a related field. A portfolio or examples of creative work (academic or personal projects are welcome).
