SANRAL is the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited. It is a government-owned company that manages South Africa’s national roads.
They believe education is key to the country’s future. That’s why they offer bursaries to students who do well in school.
Who Can Apply?
- Students start their first year of university or college in 2026 in these fields.
- BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering
- Human Resource Management
- Public Procurement or Supply Chain Management
- Computer Science or Information Systems
To qualify for a bursary, you must:
- Be a South African citizen under the age of 35.
- Meet the academic requirements for your chosen course.
- Achieve a stipulated academic average:
- For matriculants: 70% overall average
- Study at an approved South African tertiary institution (privately-owned universities will not be considered)
- Intend to enrol for full-time study (not part-time or distance learning)
- Complete an application form in full and include all necessary supporting documents
