What Is the Boilermaker Centre of Specialization Programme?

It is a 36-month artisan training programme based at the Pretoria West Campus, Ghandhi Mandela Centre, designed to take candidates through a complete, structured boilermaking qualification rather than a short-term placement.
Centre of Specialization programmes are built to align closely with workplace-based learning, which is why the college places strong emphasis on candidates being available for practical placement and willing to follow the required training rotation for the full duration of the programme.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?

- Minimum of Grade 11, with passed Mathematics serving as an added advantage
- NATED N1 to N6 in Mechanical or Welding
- Willing to be placed at a workplace identified by the College
- Willing to adhere to the rotational plan as per the curriculum (NOCC) requirements
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old, not older
